Business leaders, community partners, and nonprofit advocates came together to celebrate Daddyo's legacy while looking ahead to new opportunities

Following a weekend that tested the resilience of Southern Ocean County due to the recent Nor'easter, the local business community came together to celebrate, connect, and support one another. More than 40 business professionals gathered on September 30 at Daddy O's private party room in Brant Beach for an evening of networking, celebration, and community connection. On behalf of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and its Board of Directors, Lori Pepenella presented special recognition to Pete Palladino, Director of NJ Restaurant & Hotel Operations for Fearless Restaurants, acknowledging the team's lasting impact on the hospitality industry and their contribution to the growth and vibrancy of the Long Beach Island and Southern Ocean County region through exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to excellence.

The evening also highlighted the important work of David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, with Managing Director Dani Corso sharing the organization's powerful impact on more than 3,500 families through financial assistance and wellness resources since its founding.

Event sponsor John Davidson of Fulton Bank spoke about the vital role local financial institutions play in supporting the growth and sustainability of small businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout the community.

Attendees also enjoyed a business card raffle thanks to Ocean Comedy Series, which generously donated two four-packs of tickets to see The Royal Scam Concert at the Stafford Township Arts Center (STAC) on October 3.

As the Southern Ocean County Chamber rounds out its 112th year of service, attendees were also invited to participate in the Chamber's upcoming Business Forecast Breakfast, taking place on October 15 at 8:30 a.m. in the Terrace Room at The Mainland in Manahawkin. This highly requested program will feature expert speakers covering key topics including finance, end-of-year tax strategies and best practices, and healthcare benefits, providing valuable insights to help businesses prepare for success in 2027.

The Chamber extends its congratulations to the entire Daddy O team on this remarkable milestone and thanks all attendees, sponsors, and community partners who made the evening a success while continuing to strengthen Southern Ocean County's vibrant business community.
